Christi & Colin | 02.05.10

Christi & Colin were on the ball with their planning - they knew the type of party they wanted to have and made it happen! From their funky ceremony entrance to the ornate candy bar, to ballroom dance lessons for all the guests, these two knew how to keep the crowd entertained and set everyone up for a great night.

As usual, Trevor & I split up in the morning to capture the happenings while the guys & girls fussed about and got ready before the ceremony. I love this part of the day - its so much fun to photograph the preparations... and this day was no exception. Christi & her ladies looked stunning in their black & white gowns- and the little ones stole the show as always.

The clouds were looking a little heavy, but the outdoor ceremony at The Ancaster Old Mill went off without a hitch and the rain held off until later in the afternoon. Christi & Colin were creative with their ceremony and with a YouTube inspired entrance each bridal party member sported props and danced their way down the aisle to their own song! From the Rocky theme song to Madonna to Bob Marley they kept the crowd laughing - and then Christi made her way down the aisle with her uncle to Shawn Desman's Shiver. The outdoor ceremony was lovely and our couple looked incredible!

We took advantage of the beautiful grounds for some photos before heading indoors for the reception. It's always great when everything is in one location: ceremony, photos, cocktails and reception - it makes for a stress free day. The rain held off until right before the reception but we had lots of time to enjoy the day and the location before heading inside.

Christi's ladies were on the ball in the morning- keeping her calm and helping her with everything. She looked simply stunning!

The guys are always running around in the morning, running out of time... it's a wonder they are able to pull it together! ;)

Christi bought Colin the most incredible Fender Guitar as a wedding gift:
