Alethia & Kevin | 06.08.10
I'm just going to begin by saying that we LOVE referrals. It's such a great feeling when your passed clients sent their friends your way... Kevin was actually in Aya & Oscar's bridal party last year, so they knew us pretty well. When we met with this pair again this year we instantly hit it off - Alethia has the sweetest, most bubbly personality and a crazy infectious smile. It's easy to see what a great match they are - they're one of those couples that you can just see 'click' when you spend time with them. It's completely sweet.
We were invited to join them for a shorter day as they planned to be wed in the morning and follow the ceremony up with a Lunch time celebration - it was simply lovely!
A very genuine couple, these two had a long engagement and decided to have an intimate wedding with just their close family members at Auberge de Pommier. It was really lovely. To be completely honest, these two reminded me what this whole thing is really about... when you strip away the dresses, the rings, the decor and the cakes what left with is two people, completely in love, committing themselves to one another in front of those who are most important to them. It was truly lovely and a real pleasure to photograph.
Afterward we all headed over to Edwards Gardens for a few photos with the families and our newly weds. The weather was arguably perfect and we wondered the grounds together snapping away. Everyone reconvened for lunch back at the restaurant and the celebrations continued throughout the afternoon.
We've out together a few of our favourite photos from their session. It was a completely refreshing afternoon of coverage - congratulations you two!
Alethia was stunning:

It was an intimate ceremony on the patio:

Auberge de Pommier created a beautiful backdrop:

We snuck over to Edward's Garden's for some photos:

Seriously... how cute are they?
