Karina & Thomas | 10.07.10

Karina & Thomas had an eventful day filled with many great traditions, dances, not one, but two ceremonies and lots of friends & family!

Trevor and I split up in the morning and I had the pleasure of shooting in Karina's mother's house - a beautifully decorated home complete with handmade art work by Susana herself. It was a stunning backdrop with lots of natural light - to top it all off the house was bustling with friends of the family and the bridal party. Trevor's morning started out in the traditional Macedonian way: lots of food, even more family and many stunning traditions for him to capture.

Our first ceremony was at St.Clements Macedonian Church, an ornately gorgeous church with a picture-perfect setting. Afterward, we all slipped over to The Distillery District for some photos with the bridal party, families and our newlyweds. It was the perfect day with lots of sun! Once we finished up with the photo session we headed over to Atlantis Pavillion at Ontario Place for our second, rooftop ceremony.

Following this, the reception was rocking with not only a traditional Macedonian band, but also a rocking cover band who kept the party going well into the night! We've put together a collection of our favourites- it was a long day (14 hours) with lots of activity so it was tricky to narrow it down-but we hope you'll enjoy what we came up with! :)

Congratulations you two, it was a fantastic day and we were so honoured to be a part of it. All the best to you both!!

Make up in mom's studio:

Getting into that stunning dress, with a little help:

Is this not the cutest flower-girl ever? She even offered to share those sparkly shoes with me - now that's a sweet girl!

Meanwhile... the guys were busy shaving, singing and dancing in the morning:

The band was rocking all day long...

Over to the breathtaking St.Clements Macedonian Church for ceremony #1:

I always love the look on the grooms face as his lady comes down the aisle...

I think this might be my favourite kiss shot... nice work Trevor!

Married!!!

Over to the Distillery for a few photos- it was a perfect day!

Karina & her ladies each had a beautiful, custom created head piece by the talented Sacha at Oh So Dainty:

How cute are they?

Karina was pretty excited...

Over to the roof top for our second ceremony...sun, a cool breeze and a close group of family & friends. A lovely setting:

Married... (Again!!)

For the first time publicly.... husband & wife!

The pig dance was a huge hit:

We snuck up to the rooftop for a few sunset photos with the newlyweds... was it ever worth it!

Karina had a great Peacock theme happening-loved it:

A heartfelt speech:

The dance for was rocking well into the night:,/i>

Congrats again you two!! :)
