Kristina & I go way back... all the way to public school in good old Orangeville. So when she contacted us to see if we were available to shoot her wedding I was pretty excited at the idea of working with someone from my home town. It's always a great time and you inevitably see familiar faces from your past in the process.
I'm just going to begin by saying that we LOVE referrals. It's such a great feeling when your passed clients sent their friends your way... Kevin was actually in Aya & Oscar's bridal party last year, so they knew us pretty well. When we met with this pair again this year we instantly hit it off - Alethia has the sweetest, most bubbly personality and a crazy infectious smile. It's easy to see what a great match they are - they're one of those couples that you can just see 'click' when you spend time with them. It's completely sweet.
We were invited to join them for a shorter day as they planned to be wed in the morning and follow the ceremony up with a Lunch time celebration - it was simply lovely!

"My husband and I got married 1 year ago. Then, we temporarily moved out of the country right after our wedding, forced to leave printing pictures/albums for a while. We were just sitting down tonight to get going on that, and fell in love with our pictures all over again and were inspired to post a review.
We were pretty laid back wedding planners, choosing the first person that was reliably recommended to us for many of our vendors. But, with photography we were a lot pickier. We both felt that our pictures were the only thing we got to keep (aside from each other of course!) so that (finding someone who could really "capture" the day candidly) was where a generous amount of time, effort and resources should go. We combed a ton of websites and eventually met with 5-10 photographers. This was an important decision to us, and we can both be indecisive, but even after all those meetings, the choice was clear to both of us immediately. Trevor & Larissa had just started their joint company, so we didn't have a lot to go off of. But, what they did show us, was amazing. They were also very organized and professional but yet laid back and sincere/personal. And, we were instantly comfortable around them (which, for me was key, because I don't like getting my picture taken).
We also liked that we would get 2 talented photographers who knew how to shoot together and whose personalities and styles complemented one another so well. We weren't disappointed! They were like that through the whole process. We never had a moment of worry if they would pull through in any way. Never felt the need to check up on anything. They just did their thing the day of the wedding and a couple of weeks later gave us hundreds of pictures that truely captured our day. We can feel what the weather was like, what we and others were feeling, the fun atmosphere . . . And there are so many pictures of friends and family that are "so them", which, with us far away, are great to have. So, we got exactly what we wanted. When we met with Monica last year we just thought she was the most adorable bride ever- it must have been her southern charm that drew us in- it just warms you up and makes you smile! That Patrick is one luck man...
Liz, Victor & I met up downtown for an urban shoot in the Queen West area complete with vintage green Raleigh and a flowing yellow gown! It was a great time from start to finish as we wondered around the area together in search of the best backdrops. We even convinced a nearby lounge to lend us a pair of bright-red chairs for a few shots out back... a perfect pop of colour! Here are a few of my favourites from the session - thanks for being so laid back and easy going guys. Trevor & I can't wait to work with you both in August!

Yumi & Terence are such an adorable couple, it was easy to tell how excited they were to be wed, and what a genuine bond these two have. Their day was simply beautiful, from a sunny outdoor ceremony to a lovely indoor reception- it was a perfect day.
We absolutely love to travel and shoot in new locations - whether it's north to Owen Sound, or across the ocean to India - we're always game and get a thrill out of exploring new areas with our clients to find the perfect photo opportunities. Amanda & John (check out their downtown engagement session here) planned an awesome day at the newly designed Cobble Beach on Georgian Bay and we had the pleasure of driving north to join them!
Trevor & I had the pleasure of working with Nikki & Chad for their stunning downtown wedding... now there was a bit of rain, but this couple pushed through it without any worry (or at least any detectable worry) and everything came together in the end!
Ayesha & Michael are sweet, bubbly and completely easy to be around - after hearing their story we agreed to meet up with them in Peterborough (their old stomping grounds) for a sentimental session at a location that holds special meaning for them.
