Connie & Gerrome | 31.10.09

Well... a lot has happened since our last blog post! Things are always a little crazy near the end of the season, throw in holiday orders, a bit of travel, visiting family and our time runs thin pretty quickly! But... better late than never we'd like to share Connie & Gerrome's Hallowe'en wedding with you. It was a great day with lots of sun, fall colours, stunning dresses and a lot of love.

I love this shot of our couple-Fall is a great time for a wedding!

Connie & Gerrome have been together since high school and are a great match - always on the same page these two were excited for their day but also calm and composed and everything went off without a hitch. We started off the morning with a Tea Ceremony at the grooms parent's house and headed to University of Toronto for a few pictures of everyone before the reception. The ladies were such troopers in the cold (it was warmer than usual but that's still quite chilly if you're in a dress!) but I think it was well worth it for the photos! ;)

The reception was at the beautiful Palais Royal on the waterfront- a stunning location and perfectly fitting for this couple's elegant style. Complete with pumpkin themed details and a few dress changes, this Hallowe'en wedding was a pleasure to be a part of - enjoy!

The couple's friends provided the music throughout the ceremony at the church - it was great personal touch and sounded incredible:

Our photo session was at U of T, and although it was unseasonably warm for the end of October it was still chilly - and windy...

But everyone stuck it out and I think we got some fantastic results with the wedding party:

We had a great session around the grounds with Connie & Gerrome (they're too cute). We thought we'd share both of these photos with you as they're a great example of how Trevor & I shoot together. We're both very candid, but tend to see situations differently:

Connie had some stunning gowns throughout the day, and a team of ladies to help her with the wardrobe changes:

The details were amazing - Connie & Gerrome made these little stage-coach centre pieces themselves!

The groomsmen put together a hilarious video for the couple about their feelings on marriage... everyone was in stitches.
