Jenn & David | 22.08.09

When we met with Jenn & David we knew instantly that they would be a great fit - they were relaxed, completely cool and had a great understated sense of style. The pair came back up from New York City, accompanied by many friends, to celebrate their marriage along side their families at the home Jenn grew up in. It was a fantastic celebration, full of genuine love and a great sense of community.

A close friend of the couple was the efficient for the day and did such a lovely job with the ceremony, connecting the couple's passed with the present celebration and looking ahead to what the future will hold for them in their marriage. The outdoor ceremony on Jenn's parents property was stunning, on a grassy hill nestled underneath an evergreen, overlooking a nearby pond- you can't get much better then that! You could just picture Jenn and her siblings running around the area, fishing, swimming and and playing on the property.

The ceremony was heartfelt and refreshing- with lots of personal touches. The couple's friend's and Jenn's brother played the music throughout the ceremony, there was a real closeness felt the entire day, it was simply lovely.

Jenn & David really wanted their photography to focus on the candid, natural moments of the day- something that Trevor and I are always happy to do! :) The whole day was planned with the help of Herma's Fine Foods- a catering company that also offers planning services in the area that produces the most delicious food! Trevor and I love to stop by the store to pick up delicious spreads and specialty items when we're in that neck of the woods visiting his family. Their menu did not disappoint- dinner was delicious, with a full vegetarian plate including portobellos and veggie lasagna- mmm!

We've put together a few of our favourites for you- enjoy!

The light inside this house was pronominal- windows everywhere, you'd think the girls were getting ready outdoors!

This shot sort of ties the whole day in together- Jenn & David are both really into music, David's in the industry and so are most of their friends. The wicked pocket squares are a great reflection of their style and were gifts for all the groomsmen. And, of course the wedding was held just outside of Cobourg... :)

Check out the love as David's parent's walk him to the front as the ceremony begins:

I think this shot is so cute:

Just married!!!

A few candid's as the newlyweds migle with friends & family:

Dancing with the folks:

I LOVE Jenn's ring-ruby's are so beautiful and what a unique look:

The reception was a ton of fun, with great music and lots of laughter the party continued on well into the night:

Congratulations to you both- it was great to be a part of your day, and we wish you all the best! :)
