Esther & Seth | 23.08.09

Esther & Seth are a one of a kind couple! They have so much spirit, life and creativity that it's virtually impossibly not to smile when you are around them. Their day was such a perfect representation of them - it had everything form horns to drums to live performances from the bride & groom themselves!

Set on the beautiful grounds at The Manor in Toronto, the day threatened some rain so the ceremony was moved under the tent. This, of course, did not phase our couple who was excited to share their vows in front of an intimate group of family and friends. We love seeing something different at weddings, and this ceremony had so much personality, a magnificent horn signaled that the ceremony was about to begin, {see below!} and Seth began beating the drum to mark the entrance of his bride. Shakespearean passages and personal vows were exchanged- it was a very real, very love-filled ceremony.

We took advantage of the surrounding grounds for a few photos before the evening festivities began. Everyone was chatting and mingling throughout the day, there was a real intimate, lovely feeling throughout the crowd. The speeches were personal and entertaining and you could see the performance background in the guests come out as they presented their stories about Esther & Seth. As members of the Alexander Players, Esther & Seth rounded out the evening with an amazing performance of 'Something There' from Beauty and the Beast. Their outstanding voices echoed throughout the room, and everyone (including us) just loved it! There was laughter and so much love expressed throughout this day- it was truly a pleasure to be invited to join in.

A creative and unique touch- Seth's brother signaled the beginning of the ceremony:

I always love the parent's reaction as the couple has officially tied the knot!

Lots of love for the newlyweds:

The grounds at The Manor are beautiful:

The reception room was stunning, warm and inviting:

All the best to you both as you continue your lives together- Trevor & I can't wait for your next operatic performance so that we can snag tickets to see you both in action!
