Weddings, Engagement Shoots

E-Story | Michelle & Frank

With perfect timing to go along with our contest, Michelle & Frank decided to book their engagement shoot on Saturday in the heart of the downtown core. When they were still in school the center of the city was their stomping ground, making it a perfect place for their engagement shoot.

We lucked out with our lighting-some amazing sun and not a cloud in the sky! However, despite the golden glow it was actually quite chilly but these two were troopers and we wondered around the city in search of it's hidden gems.

E-Story ~ Linsey & Bobby

We met up with Linsey & Bobby in the west end for some winter-white High Park Portraits and a stroll across Bloor Street. We lucked out with the weather, it wasn't too chilly and we even had some flurries to work with!

These two were adorable together, laid back and very relaxed-we had an awesome time working with you two and can't wait to shoot your wedding in August!

Lindsay & Adam | 01.11.08

These two lucked out with gorgeous, sunny and unseasonably warm weather on their November 1st wedding day. Now don’t get me wrong, the bridesmaids were still a little chilly but there wasn’t a snowflake in sight and we took advantage of the bright sun as much as we could!

Sabrina & Andrew | *Preview*

Ok everyone...

We're off to a wedding this morning, but I just wanted to post a quick preview from Sabrina & Andrew's engagement shoot at The Brickworks:

Breana & Tyler | 20.09.08

This day was beautiful from the start- take two designers, pair them together and let them plan a wedding… you’re bound to come out with a picture-perfect affair. The day was filled with gorgeous details and thoughtful touches, including a picturesque ceremony at Webster Falls.

Karyn & Mike | 16.09.08

When we arrived at Mike’s parent’s property we were thrilled with what we saw: gorgeous sandstone buildings, beautiful open fields, decorative gardens and a friendly crowd.

Karyn’s entrance in horse-drawn carriage awed the crowd and preceded some of the most touching and intimate wedding vows I’ve heard to date.

A perfect match for our style, Karyn & Mike were relaxed and laid back throughout the entire day; making their photo session’s filled with life & love. The reception was a party filled with a ton of laughter and fantastic music- not to mention their hilarious MC!

Monika & Kenny | 27.09.08

These two are so in love and so much fun- their high spirits and excitement for the day was contagious and was truly a pleasure to photograph.

The day was relaxed from the start and neither bride nor groom were down when we had a drizzly morning- both seemed unphased by the weather and excited to be tying the knot.

The ceremony was at St.Matthew's with stunning natural light and lots of family & friends. By the afternoon the weather had cleared up nicely and we were able to take advantage of the grounds at Oakville Golf Club- golf carts and all! It was a beautiful setting and the evening that followed was filled with laughter, games and love.

Thank you both for inviting us to be a part of your day- we truly enjoyed ourselves. It’s easy to see that you are crazy about each other- congrats!

E-Story | Jenn & Chester

Hey Everyone!

Here are some photos from Jenn and Chester's engagement shoot. This was a two hour shoot that Larissa and I did with them in St. Jacob's. We usually try and encourage our clients to be creative when picking their engagement shoot location, to try and be different and pick a place that is important to them and their relationship. So when they came back to us with this location we were so excited.

These are a few of my favorite images of the day. Enjoy.

E-Story | Sabrina & Andrew

It was a wet morning with clouds and spurts of rain, but when we met up with this newly engaged couple we lucked out… the rain held off and we even had some sunshine! After much discussion about location options in the city we came up with Evergreen Brickworks as the perfect fit for Sabrina & Andrew.
