Beverley & Vincent are one unique and hardworking couple! Beverley is currently finishing up her residency in Ottawa and they are planning their Toronto wedding with the help of their sister-in-law, Charlene. Lucky for them Charlene is a wedding planner from Picture Perfect Events in Southern California, and has been an immense help as she brings her expertise to plan this wedding long-distance.
Bev, Vince & I met up for the first time down in the Distillery District (their old stomping grounds) and wondered around in search of some great photos. It was awesome to finally meet the two of you in person and get to know you a bit better! :) Here are a few of my favourite shots from our session, stay tuned for photos from their wedding at Angus Glen in September.
From the perfectly timed Cherry Blossom theme to the live music at the ceremony, these two were right on the mark. They were comfortable and calm throughout the day and let the stormy weather slide right off their backs, which made our jobs easy.
The ceremony was held in the Royal Botanical Gardens, with a reception to follow at The Tower Garden Cafe. The photos in Korea Park fit perfectly with their theme, and there were Cheery Blossom petals were blowing all around, highlighting their colour palette and creating a stunning backdrop.
Trev & I knew that Val & Peter were going to be an awesome couple to work with from the moment we met them last year- they are laid back, cute and full of energy. Time has flown by since that consultation and the wedding is fast approaching... I met up with the two of them for their engagement session down in the Distillery District, which just happens to be one of their favourite areas to hang out in the city.
Val & Peter are light-hearted and approachable- and when you spend time with them it's clear to see that they are very much in love. They had a great chemistry and kept each other laughing throughout the entire shoot- as you can see from their photos below. :)
I had an awesome time hanging out with you both last Friday, Trevor & I can't wait to work with you at the wedding in June!
We started off with a beautiful ceremony at Victoria College Chapel at the University of Toronto where natural light & laughter filled the room. This couple was amazing- their excitement and love for each other coupled with their laid back attitude made for a spectacular day. The photo session at UofT was eventful, complete with a run-away veil that lodged itself up a tree! Aya laughed it off and Kurt along with the rest of the groomsmen came to the rescue with a giant make-shift veil-retriever! (see below)
Michelle & Frank were calm, cool, collected [and always on time] throughout their entire wedding. These two were all full of smiles, upbeat and happy all day - they even braved some rain in the afternoon with grins on their faces!
Ginger & Nic are a unique couple- having been together for more than ten years the two decided to tie the knot and we were lucky enough to be invited to capture the event! We had beautiful weather for their day and started off with a church ceremony and then headed to Piper's Heath in Milton to snap some photos and let the newlyweds enjoy the reception.
We've put together a few of our favorites from the day for you to browse through-enjoy!
Working with Jelena & Peter was a real pleasure- from the moment we met them we knew their wedding would be something special. The day went off with out a hitch and was filled with a lot of love and laughter.
With perfect timing to go along with our contest, Michelle & Frank decided to book their engagement shoot on Saturday in the heart of the downtown core. When they were still in school the center of the city was their stomping ground, making it a perfect place for their engagement shoot.
We lucked out with our lighting-some amazing sun and not a cloud in the sky! However, despite the golden glow it was actually quite chilly but these two were troopers and we wondered around the city in search of it's hidden gems.

We met up with Linsey & Bobby in the west end for some winter-white High Park Portraits and a stroll across Bloor Street. We lucked out with the weather, it wasn't too chilly and we even had some flurries to work with!
These two were adorable together, laid back and very relaxed-we had an awesome time working with you two and can't wait to shoot your wedding in August!

These two lucked out with gorgeous, sunny and unseasonably warm weather on their November 1st wedding day. Now don’t get me wrong, the bridesmaids were still a little chilly but there wasn’t a snowflake in sight and we took advantage of the bright sun as much as we could!
