Erin & Ryan | 02.08.09

Alright Brides, Grooms and Blogger-lovers... I've been working hard to get this thing up to date in the midst of such a busy season. And look- that's right, we're into our August weddings now! (yay!) There's much more to come, so be sure to stay tuned. Don't forget to leave us your thoughts because we always love to read your comments!

This wedding had everything- from high fashion to urban flair and some amazing weather thrown in to boot! It was a classy black & white affair with an urban backdrop, good friends and lots of personality.

We started out at The Park Hyatt downtown and headed over to Knox College on the University of Toronto grounds for a ceremony in their stunning chapel. For photos we took advantage of the grounds and to mix it up we also went downtown for to get a funky, urban look. The weather was on our side and we had stunning light for the whole afternoon... finally a little bit of summer on the weekend!

The reception was unique and had a great intimate feel- Erin did an amazing job with all the little details from place cards to tiny tree centre pieces, it all came together beautifully. I have always loved the idea of holding wedding receptions at classy little restaurants downtown and this wedding was a perfect example. Brassii was not only a great location but had an amazing atmosphere, outdoor patio, personable staff and of course- delicious food.

Cachelle from Savior Flare helped plan the event and was there throughout the day to ensure that everything was running smoothly. With this organized bride and the help of her stylish planner everything stayed on time and the day went off without a hitch.

Here are a few of our favourites from the day- there was no lack of variety and Erin & Ryan's excitement made it easy for us to do our jobs. Congratulations you two!

Erin's something blue was a monogram sewn into her dress- too cute!

Erin looked just stunning in her Vera Wang gown:

Ryan & his groomsmen got ready at their condo and headed downtown via TTC- a great touch of the city:

Erin's entrance into the church- the architecture was breathtaking:

Newlyweds! :)

I love this shot that Trevor snatched during the family photos in the courtyard:

The colour scheme and graphic design of the dresses looked so awesome with this urban backdrop:

August 2nd...the pair are hitched! ;) {and of course, you've got to love those Manolo's!}

Erin & Ryan's first dance in the courtyard of Brassii:

The details at this wedding were to die for- Erin (+ Ryan) did a beauitiful job, the tiny trees were my fav!:

There is no doubt... they're a perfect match:

Ryan & Erin's speech was great- it was easy to tell that Ryan is in the entertainment industry. An awesome party followed with dancing, signature shots, cigars and a lot of love:
